With a growing community and at the age of only 21, Maia, aka mxmtoon, proves a strong taste for watered-down lyricism in her music. For this session, we met her for a sunny stroll on the Île Saint-Louis, on the banks of the Seine, far from the Parisian bustle.

This Take Away Show, directed by Elie Girard, breaks with the deeply pop and elaborate side of mxmtoon's studio compositions to keep only the lightness and delicate benevolence of its melodies. Here, we are guided by a ukulele-voice tandem, fully valuing the raw talent of this more than promising artist.
