Kathleen Frances

 'We took Kathleen Frances to Devonshire Square, in East London, which was used as textile warehouses in the 1700s. To make full use of the beautiful space, I worked with Kathleen to adapt the song slightly, so that it starts with her singing Acapella. I always find pianos a little tricky to shoot in the Take Away Show format, as you’re confined to such a small area. I really wanted to show off her powerful unique voice, whilst also showing off as much of the location as possible, so walking from A to B was a great way of taking the viewer on a journey, whilst also revealing Adam at the piano.' - James Hough on directing our latest Take Away Show with Kathleen Frances.
