Jacob Collier

Back in 2020, during the first lockdown, Jacob Collier spontaneously wrote this song in his room, ‘The Sun Is In Your Eyes’. He first performed it on TED social media as a special release while we were in this strange era. A peaceful, bright ballad that was recorded as a voice memo on his phone back then. Just him, his wonderful, mature voice, and that clear guitar; a unique moment out of time.

To film and capture the sheer beauty of this song, it seemed natural for us to walk with Jacob along the Seine, on the tip of the Île Saint Louis exactly, slowly following his path, surrounded by the sound of the water in the centre of the city. This walk takes him slowly from shadow to light, in the bright sunshine we had that day in Paris. We are delighted to share this special moment with you all tomorrow on our channel!
